ABOUT

Hello, my name is John Gill and I'd like to tell you a little of my story. Born and raised on a farm in Rosemount, MN. I dreamed of cars and everything engine related. At a very young age I was on a mission to take things apart, sadly at that time I wasn't very good at putting them back together! My first successful automotive repair was a 1976 Ford-100. My grandfather had broken the key off in the ignition. I begged for 3 days until my father relented and took me to Napa to buy a new ignition switch. Two days later, the Ford-100 was good as new. I was hooked.

EXPERIENCE

At 12 years old, I rebuilt my older brother's SBC 327. He did have to help me with some parts, but I successfully completed my first major repair. At 16, I worked hard to get my GED early and get true automotive training. I attended Longview Community College in MO, owned a motorcycle shop in Central America and for the past 8 years have been working on cars here in MN. I love fixing a car right the first time and giving the customer a vehicle that is safe and secure. I am well on my way to securing my Master Technician Certification and am looking forward to working with you as well.
